An intimate gathering in community & stillness

Overview
At the edge of the road, where cars can no longer go, a small Andalusian village waits â whitewashed, car-free, and held by the vast wilderness of the Sierra Nevada National Park. Ancient footpaths wind out from its stone alleys into the mountains, tracing the same routes once used by shepherds, mystics, and wanderers.
Here stands our retreat home â a 700-year-old Moorish house lovingly restored by long term VajrayÄna practitioners. Every room carries the warm and colourful touch and reflects their artistic background. The home includes its own hammam and indoor pool â a warm, quiet refuge for deep rest after long walks or meditation.
This March, a small group of practitioners will gather in this home in the mountains to share in practice, food, laughter, nature, reflection, and rest.
This retreat is simple in spirit, an immersion in being together. Days will unfold naturally: meditation, dialogue, laughter, silence, long walks, nourishing meals, and time to simply be.
This gathering offers space to return to what is essential â to presence, friendship, and the joy of shared stillness.
About the Place
Nestled in a small Andalusian village within the Sierra Nevada National Park, our retreat home overlooks mountains, olive groves, and winding walking trails. The air is clear, the pace unhurried, and the setting invites deep rest and presence.
The house itself is simple, beautiful, and comfortable â a place that naturally gathers people into warmth and silence.
Daily Rhythm
There will be a light rhythm of practice â two guided meditations and one shared dialogue most days, interwoven with rest, time in nature, and spontaneous activity.

Who This Is For
The Joy of Sangha Retreat is for those already grounded in their practice â who wish to live that depth more fully in the world.
Throughout these ten days, weâll share meditations, teachings, and dialogues that draw from the heart of non-dual Tantra. Yet the real practice will unfold through daily life â cooking together, hiking the mountains, exploring the local village, sharing meals, laughter, and connection.
This retreat is about withdrawing from the world, while meeting it fully in in good company.Â
