1. General
These terms and conditions apply to all purchases made through Anuttara, including online courses, programs, teacher trainings, and in-person retreats. By completing a purchase, you agree to be bound by these terms, which form a legally binding contract between Anuttara and the purchaser.
2. Services Description
Anuttara endeavors to describe and display its services as accurately as possible. However, slight variations or differences in content, format, or accessibility may occur. If a service offered by Anuttara is not as described, your sole remedy is to request a modification or a credit for future services.
3. Pricing and Payment
All prices are in United States dollars (USD) unless otherwise indicated. Anuttara reserves the right to adjust prices without notice to reflect changes in external costs or currency fluctuations. Full payment must be received before the provision of any services. Payments can be made via various accepted methods, including credit card, PayPal, or other digital payment platforms.
Payment Plans: If a participant registers using a payment plan, they are responsible for completing all scheduled payments. Failure to meet payment obligations may result in suspension of access to services and pursuit of outstanding amounts.
4. Cancellation and Refunds
Online courses, programs, and trainings:
Participants may cancel their enrolment within 7 days of purchase for a full refund, provided the service has not commenced.
After 7 days, refunds may be available but are subject to an administrative fee of $150 USD.
Once the service has begun, refunds will not be provided. Participants may be eligible to transfer their enrolment to another session or service of equivalent value, subject to availability and prior approval.
In-person retreats and events:
Refund and cancellation policies may differ by event. Please review those documents carefully before registering.
Anuttara is not responsible for travel costs, delays, cancellations, or external circumstances beyond our control (including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, or government restrictions). In such cases, refunds may not be available, though credit or transfer options may be offered.
Scholarships & Reduced-Rate Options:
Scholarship or reduced-rate places are non-transferable and may carry different cancellation or refund terms, which will be communicated at the time of registration.
5. Publication Agreement
Some live components may be recorded. By attending these sessions, you acknowledge and agree that:
- Recordings may be published, sold, archived, or otherwise used in ways deemed appropriate by Anuttara.
- Your likeness, voice, or participation may appear in these recordings.
- Recordings may be used for educational purposes, promotional materials, or community archives.

6. Intellectual Property
All materials provided as part of our services, including but not limited to videos, documents, audio recordings, and other materials, are the intellectual property of Anuttara and are provided for personal, non-commercial use only. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or commercial use is strictly prohibited.
7. User Conduct
Participants are expected to maintain a respectful and non-disruptive demeanor during all sessions. Anuttara reserves the right to remove any participant from a service without a refund if their behavior is deemed inappropriate, disruptive, or offensive.
Retreats and in-person events: Participants are expected to contribute to a safe and supportive environment. Substance abuse, harassment, or disregard for retreat guidelines may result in removal without refund.
8. Health & Responsibility
Participation in anuttara offerings may involve physical, emotional, or spiritual practices. By registering, you affirm that you are responsible for your own health and well-being. You release Anuttara from liability for any injuries, conditions, or damages that may arise through participation. Please consult your healthcare provider before beginning any new practices if you have health concerns.
9. Privacy
Anuttara is committed to protecting your personal information. We collect, store, and use your data in accordance with our privacy policy, which is available on our website. Please review it to understand how we handle your personal details.
10. Limitation of Liability
Anuttara is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our services or the inability to use the services properly. This includes but is not limited to, damages for loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved under this jurisdiction.
