Rishi Fraser McDonald

RIshi (Fraser) first discovered the deeper aspects of Yoga and Kirtan on a trip to India in 2006. Since that time, he has benefitted from many teachers and traditions, but the most profound connection is with his root teacher, Moojibaba, from whom he received the name Rishi.

Regardless of the path, whether Bhakti, Jnana, Hatha, or Karma Yoga, there is a great power and unity that emerges through genuine sadhana. It is this unity and these practices that inspire Rishi’s Kirtan, music, yoga and Qi Gong offerings.

Through grace and good fortune, these practices have helped him heal from a serious brain injury, while transforming his life and relationships in such incredible ways. He loves to share from the depth of his experience and inspire others to discover this same aliveness in their own hearts, bodies, minds  and lives.

He offers Bio-Dynamic Cranial Sacral Therapy, and in addition to being award winning writer and performance artist, he has completed a mindfulness certification with University of Toronto, as well as 180 hour AYT and 200 hour RYT. His Kirtan and music can be found at hearts-calling.com.
