Nidrā for Self-Erasure

For the one who keeps giving until there is nothing left to give.

About this recording:

This practice is for anyone who has learned to make themselves useful as a way of feeling safe — whose own creativity, body, and dharma keep getting placed at the end of a list that never gets finished. Who moves through the day drained, and then wonders why stillness feels so threatening. This Yoga Nidrā works with the places in the nervous system where receiving feels dangerous and rest feels like a risk — moving through the full range of that experience, holding self-criticism and self-acceptance, doubt and trust, depletion and replenishment, until none of them collapse you. What it opens toward is the recognition that your dharma does not flow from effort. It flows from nourishment. You were never a bucket to be emptied for others. You are the well.

Testimonial:

"I listened to the nidrā as soon as I received it and have been listening every evening before bed. I could feel the divine presence speaking through you. The first time I listened, I sensed I was in the womb of Mother Earth — it took me back to ayahuasca ceremonies where I moved through the void and into rebirth, just as we do every night and every morning. This has helped me connect pieces of my journey I could express in my mind but hadn't yet felt in my heart and soul. Finally, something genuine and authentic in this world. I know I am not alone."

This recording was originally created for one person. It is offered here because what one person carries, many people carry. If you are looking for a practice built entirely around your own particular contraction, a personal Yoga Nidrā can be made for you.
